Remington's Show Career

Remington started his puppy career with five match group wins and two Best In Matches. He took his first Best in Sweepstakes at six months at the Astro World Series of Dog Shows. He got his first major and Best of Winners at eight months. The next week we were off to Delaware for the 1996 GRCA National Specialty where he placed second in the 6-9 PD regular class and won the Sweepstakes class. He was also chosen to be in the stud class at the national. He went Best Opposite in Sweepstakes at ten months. At twelve months Remington got his second major and Best of Winners at the Austin Golden Retriever Club Specialty. At fourteen months he won his second sweepstakes and a third major at the Houston Golden Retriever Club Specialty once again taking Best of Winners. He finished his Championship at fifteen months, always breeder owner handled. Remington has been a real joy to love and show. He responds to the applause and is anxious to get in the ring, never quitting even when it's hot. He is wonderful with children and puppies, with an outgoing and active personality. His "best friend" is the last person he just met. Remington loves to do the things retrievers should do. Remington has a masculine headpiece, large with a wide deep muzzle and broad backskull, dark pigment and a soft alert expression. He is a heavy-boned, deep-bodied dog and carries an abundant coat year round, especially for a southern dog. His front assembly is one of his strongest attributes: he has an exceptional shoulder, upper arm and forechest. He's clean coming and going with beautiful side gait, equal reach and drive, effortless movement and is very light on his feet. He's a real joy to watch on the move. Remington has good length of neck that blends into well layed back shoulders. He is short in loin with medium length of back and a correct tail set. He has a scissor bite with full dentition and no dropped incisors. Remington is producing champion get.
